it's time i update my blog. but this isn't going to be a good post so please click on the 'X' button or 'back' button or whatever button if you aren't in a good mood now

project officers. wow sounds like a nice job huh? but dun be fooled by the name. trust me, it's nothing more than carpenters' work. just that we also hav to plan how to carry it out etc. but we also applied through the moe website for relief teachers ok? so u mean we are not considered staff because we are only working for a few weeks? the tees are only for staff working for long periods of time? ok so why did u even arrange us to participate in the event? i believe tj has many more staffs to fill up our positions right? even the teacher asked us why we are required to participate. so obviously actually we need not participate?

i don't know.

it seems like i'm a very petty person. complaining so much jus because of a very small issue. but i jus feel that u all could hav done better.
too bad the sun doesn't rise from the west, if not i could hav donated the 8 bucks to you. at least i'll be recognised as a staff tmr, not jus an alumni or even volunteer.
i can expect people to ask me why i dun hav the tee tmr, including my sis -.- but i dun wish to explain over and over again.
and i'm eager to see how many would turn up in college tee and not the corporate tee.

so now i'm deciding whether to turn up for tmr. if i do, it's because of miss goh. it's because i hav integrity, i promised her i would go. it's because i want to do my part for the environment and for charity.

and congrats tj u jus had another few big bags of old clothes for go green day - the extra t-shirts -.-

haha my blog finally revived after 1 year plus (:

i'm slacking at home right now cos i'll probably only start work in feb. working as a teaching assistant at a new tuition centre called CLAN in tampines. job scope is to assist teachers with worksheets and assignments for primary school students. the pay is not bad. $8 per hour for the 1st 240 hr and then $10 per hour.

i'm now waiting for the 2nd branch to open at tampines junction (:

haha i'm like advertising for them. but yea they're still recruiting so anyone interested?
but you'll hav to undergo a training first, which is paid as well (:
quite slack cos you only sit there and attend the training and u get paid. haha

they're using a new module so you'll hav to learn how it works before you can teach, which is the purpose of the training.
cause and intent 原因和意图. that's what they use for compre questions, both english and chinese. seriously it isn't that easy. till now we are still not quite sure of how it works haha.
but then again, luckily i didn't choose english as one of the subjects i'll be teaching (:

anyway i'm now in the midst of organising class outings. for both 4B and 3308 (:
of course i'm not the only organiser =P
it's not easy to find a suitable date cos most ppl are either working or schooling nowadays. so only left weekends. hope they'll turn out successful (:

haha i'm also gonna browse through all my mum's recipe books and see what i can make since i'm like so free now :D

staff day celebration today!
haha it was our first teachers' day in tj
and the birth of our class tee!
PINK!!
hahahaha!

anw in the morning after assembly we had aces day
which is in the form of mass dancing
haha
had a mini party celebration
food plus drinks plus laughter plus FUN!! :D
haha we made a 'benzene ring' if u noe wat dat is xD
we sang a 'happy staff day' song to ms cai
and happy birthday to cheeleong
sinyee they all gave a 大饼 to him
hahaha!
the pasta indra's mum made was nice
and the chicken wings and cake and jelly silvia made (:

after dat was the concert at audi
went there quite late so din had a place to sit
walk here walk there and finally we settled down at the stairs
lol
the concert was not bad
wenshin and melanie as MCs
there's was dedication messages, dances, chamber ensemble, photos guessing game and a performance by the new tutors of tj.
haha the performance by the new tutors was very entertaining and hilarious
sent the whole audi laughing :DD

den rushed back to ahs with part of the ahs-tj gang
the teachers were having their buffet at the hostel
lots of ppl from our batch came back
and there's quite alot of others from the previous batches oso
went to meet mrs chuah, ms chan, mr mok etc etc

and best of all was the meeting up with old friends
hahaha so happy to see all of them again
I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH!! :D:D:D

went back to ahs with minyu and shimin today after sch
st john had combined games with ncc
reminds me of the time when we had combined games with ncc too.

li jiawei played against guo yue jus now and lost :(
it's like history replayed cos she was oso fourth in the athens games 2004
watched the news jus now and the reporter said she was in tears when they interviewed her
ewwww :(
but nvm at least she won 2 games rite?
and we already got a silver medal don't we?
so it's worth celebrating too! :D

anw they'll be back on mon around 3 pm and going for the team singapore celebration at raffles city
i wanna go!!!!

yes i know i haven being blogging for a long time
haha

e-learning week last week
lots of work was to be done but on the other hand, i found dat i learn better
lol
maybe because i got more sleep :D

weihui's taiwan buddy came on mon
i mean to school
her name is yiren if i'm not wrong
so sad our class only got one
if not it'll be more fun

had napfa 5 items ytd
our shift was at 3, and it ended at 5 plus -.-
all because of the time spent waiting for our IPU cos we were the 2nd last class to do
they are so inefficient, as compared to ahs x)
and silvia fell down and hurt herself while walking to the sports complex
injured herself even before we started
lol
2.4 run on tues
wish me luck :D

after dat had leo club investiture
or more precisely it's our induction and installation ceremony
so now we are official leos :D
started at aroud 7.15 and ended at 9 plus
had rehearsal and a 15 min dinner before the actual ceremony
reception at the end of it
damn tired when i reached home

and my tutee abandoned me :(
haha no lah she says she dun need the tuition anymore cos she's having free tution somewhere else currently and she has extra classes everyday

saw a couple who's extremely wasteful
the girl ordered a cheese baked rice and cheese fries

my sis flew off to vienna ytd night

their flight was at 2 am today
transfer flight at dubai international airport
both flights 7 hours, plus waiting time at dubai also 7 hours
so total 21 hours

she'll be spending 8 days 5 nights there, coming back on mon.
haiz lucky her
can go overseas so many times
her sister me only went to shanghai once during sec 2
i mean trips with your friends lah

omg it's been 2 months plus since i last blogged
hahaha too lazy
actually got lots of things to say but since it's all over already...den forget it.
LOL

jus came back from leo camp at noon
slept till 6 plus
haha cos i din slept well last night, without my dearest bed x)
so about the camp, it;s like supposed to be for 60 plus ppl
in the end only 30 plus ppl turned up
and some left on the first day
like so sian already
nvr before did i attend a camp where i'm counting down to break camp time
lol
but luckily my group of ppl all quite enthu and nice
so it wasn't dat bad afterall (:
we were the best group but guess wat?
the comm ppl said the prize was GONE
like ???
overall the camp was quite screwed actually
waited and waited and waited
but actually can't blame the comm ppl lah
it's not entirely their fault cos they din expect so few ppl to turn up
quite demoralizing oso if it's me.

cg outing on wed
we went to karaoke!
at some ulu place in katong shopping centre
but very cheap
12 ppl each paid 2 bucks only
22 bucks for 3 hours

last week at this time of the day i was in ahs
haha in st john camp (:

Day 1 (29/2)
went there at around 6 plus
and they were preparing for field cooking
and i made a new friend
xinyi, mdm lur's daughter
and she was sticking to me for almost the whole night x))
den after field cooking it was night games
went to the station near the npcc room there to help out
we were supposed to act out part of the story
with siewmin as the killer principal
but apparently all the groups weren't scared at all
were laughing and joking around
maybe because the place was brightly lit?
lol
den after their supper and lights out me, sab, jac, man, wb, lkk, yk, james and wm played poker cards at the benches there
and so we played, chat and eat throughout the night
den in the middle of the night there was fire drill with bb
they used the smoke bomb which was damn smelly
they threw it inside one of their cadets' bunk
den slammed the door very hard
the cadets were supposed to wake up and they should noe dat it was fire drill
but after like around 10 min no one came out
den the bb were banging on the lockers to hint them
still no reaction -.-
so in the end no choice jus shout fire drill
wonder how the cadets managed to survived the bomb
din suffocate to death
haha
oh and we even went to the parade square and lie down there
looking at the beautiful sky
feel so relaxed in the cool breeze if only you were there with me (:

Day 2 (1/3)
went back at around 7 in the morning
came home sleep till around 2 plus den had lunch
bathed and went back to ahs with cindy
no one from our sq was there yet
den sab came followed by james and yk den jac they all
den campfire started
went to the field and started getting high and stuffs
with huan entertaining us all the time
scouts joined us since they were there helping us with the structures for the whole day
they were more high than the ncos
lol
so as usual we ended the campfire by singing songs
after lights out it was seniors time again
jac cal sab huan lkk and sy went 85 for supper
den me and rice sent yeo to her dad's car
went up to the seniors bunk and saw wb james yk ad michael playing cards
den i can't remember when almost all the seniors there joined us
got treated to roti prata and iced milk tea
and played 2 new games taught by jasmine and wong
level up and werewolf (:

Day 3 (2/3)
so we played throughout the night until around 5am
time passed by quickly when u are enjoying yourself
haha
slept for a while before waking up when triage started
dunno why but dun really hav the triage feeling
maybe because i weren't there throughout the whole thing?
den after dat was cleaning up, breakfast and pt
sparstic exercise poses taught by wong xD
and some of us ordered mac
cos we thot the ncos din buy lunch for us
they said not enough budget mah
haha
in the end they did buy our serving
luckily i din order mac
saved the money
lol
den after closing parade was the big st john whoosh
and some of us nearly suffocated
haha but it was a great st john feeling
so it was the end of ST JOHN CAMP 2008 (:

and i was telling my sis i think st john may be the only cca with alot of seniors coming back every year.
including those who are already in their twenties
why is this so?

A level results out today
it doesn't concern me nor any of my cousins
but dunno why i got this kind of indescribable feeling
2 years more and it'll be our turn xD

chinese new year
nothing much
as usual jus went to relatives' houses and temples
but it's so nice to see all my cute little cousins again
still as playful and naughty as ever :DDD

not as high as o1 especially on the first day
maybe it's because of lesser ppl
o1 there were like so many ppl
some even hav to sit on the stairs
but now not even all the seats are filled

anw i was in og11
still in panthera
but for the 3 days i like spent most of my time in og3
with jiemin, leonard, junhan and junrong they all
it's ok cos og3 is oso in panthera
oh and weepeng was our clan mistress
so on fri shimin joined us
appeal sucessful (:
on the last day we had a performance 'The Act'
every clan will hav a performance
slithas' performance got the first and erypion got second

den mass dance at suntec again
sweet escape couple dance, s club party and speedy gonzales
so overall zephon got first and panthera was second!!
haha it's was kind of surprising cos we were like the third or last for the past 2 days

st john camp will be tmr until sunday
like such a weird timing
haha but no choice lah since they had to handover in april and the sec 2s are going overseas during the march holidays. (:

and ever since the start of pae i got to know many more ahs ppl
ppl whom i knew but nvr talk to or seldom talk to back in ahs
like xuanting, mengjit, jiemin, chermaine, leonard, junhan, junrong, zekun, chiahong, jiesi and many many more!
haha of course still got alot others from both of my cg.
dat's why i say tj brings people together! :DD

ytd went back to ahs after dismissal with shimin and linyu
for advice on which jc to choose

so we walked around the classrooms first to see if there's any teacher we knew
den saw mrs chew first
talked to her like how we did on thursday
"we only realise our mistake after we have done it"

i think it's very true especially after wat linyu said

yup so later on went back to the staffroom there
called for mrs chuah
den saw ms chan who can link our conver to chemistry
haha really miss her alot since pae started

den we still met mr mok who's still as nice and jovial as he was
and we waited a long time for mr yow
though we dun really know him but we still wanted to see him
cos we think he's the one who would be most sure of this jae thing
after dat we can't think of any more teachers to ask so we called for ms lee yilian
she was from vj

ok so most of the teachers were being realistic
though it kind of go against wat linyu wanted
but she has very strong determination =)
haha

so after dat shimin and linyu went home while i went to see my dearest sjab
some of the animals were there too
they were having pt and triage
but the triage is like erm very quiet?
not like the time we did it
lol so it's good to see part of 407 again :DDD
but i feel dat i hav drifted apart from some of them

overall it was very fun and enjoyable
and i miss it
all the cheering, dances, games, clans, people, ogls etc etc
ok i mus take down all these before i forget
so dat i'll be able to reminisce a few years down the road ;)

for 2 consecutive years
it was quite a surprise for some of us cos we weren't in the first 2 positions during the first 2 days
we thot dat either erypion or zephon will win
maybe it was the mass games, performance (stomp) and beauty talent king dat helped us
but nevertheless
we were sooooo happy and high dat night
cheering and dancing
lol xD

shall jus roughly talk about the events dat happened these 4 days

1st day (wed)
reach the sch at around 8
went to the audi
it was super noisy and high cos ppl were cheering here and there
den had intro, talks, welcome address etc
finally ZENITH 008 started!
watched a video and had icebreakers and cheering
split into our ogs and had intro again
den mass dance
so first day nothing much

2nd day (thurs)
gathered at audi at 7
cheering session followed by the second part of the video
den was AMAZING RACE!!
split into 2 groups per og
our district was tampines
and it was fun choinging to the last bonus station
we din even hav lunch so went back to tj to hav chicken rice
lol
den was og performance brainstorming and mass dance

3rd day (fri)
same time same place
had talk on college ethos by vp and dm
den cheering session and briefing for mass games
after dat we had og performance preparation before our turn for mass games
so in total we went to like 3 stations only cos of the time
den went back to ahs with the others for cca orientation
was damn high
cheering and shouting
getting drenched twice in the rain
but it was good to be in ahs again
seeing all my dearest juniors =)
after cca orientation ended went to suntec with a few others for the mass dance
reached and had dinner before changing and joining the others
danced around the fountain of wealth
we had 4 dances in total
it was fun and high throughout but i'm too tired to enjoy it
lol xD

4th day (sat)
went to east coast at 11 for og outing
cos there's rehearsal for those groups performing for zenith night so we were free
had lunch there and played a few games
den it rained again so we went bowling
after dat we went back to sch, changed and prepared for onight
so on zenith night there were og performances, dare-dication, beauty talent finalists performances and videos etc etc
for the dare-dication, which was to dare anyone to do something on dat night
our og kena someone or some group daring 15 ppl frm our grp to do a human pyramid
and we got 1000 pts frm dat
haha
and victor our prom king was one of the finalists for the beau talent pageant
he played 3 songs which was sooo nice x)
in the end the stomp and the male finalist representing panthera in the bt pageant won!
which earned us alot of points :D
oh and the 2 MCs were really good actors
especially the girl who's the pres of drama club if i'm not wrong

so i totally enjoyed these 4 days of fun and excitement :D

haha jus back frm china on friday night
had a wonderful 5 days there
though it was very cold at night
haha xD
ok the whole group is all aunties and uncles
only the 3 of us (my 2 sis and i) are the youngest
but fortunately they are all very friendly and nice
we'll talk to them like friends
and sometimes they will give us sweets and food oso
so we enjoyed the trip very much =D

ok and the tour guide was very good oso
very funny
everytime tell us jokes on the bus
responsible and hardworking too

went to lots of tourist destinations and temples
i think the most memorable one was the tan kah kee place
visited his house and the park he built
which is oso where his tomb is
we all bowed 3 times to him infront of his tomb
as a form of respect and honour
a man who deserved the respect of all when he was alive

we saw lots of things he used before
all very old and torn
as he was a very frugal man when he was alive
his things are all used for very long

met calista on the mrt at bedok
den went meet wenbin and yukun at pasir ris
started searching for their hp presents at white sands
later met wong and crystal and went to the holiday flat
not as rundown as we expected

started making ice and cleaning up before wong and i leave for our 6/1 chalet
it was at nsrcc
the chalet very nice lah
like bungalow
and our class chalet is gonna be there =)
it wasn't as bad as i expected
haha
so when we went back we continued playing d.o.a, talking, eating, gossiping etc
and jacintha came in to gatecrash
we were like shouting and screaming while playing d.o.a all the way until 3 plus
so funny and unglam
den we saw a cockroach behind the television
the funny thing is we din thought of how to kill it but went into the room to tell clarice her friend is here

in the end huan killed it.

woke up quite early and we went home to prepare for farewell
went home and took a nap first
den in the evening jac came to my house
changed and meet the rest at the place which was actually stated wrongly

and we started taking photos here and there
den was ushered to the canteen by glen
started eating while listening to dedications
had spaghetti and campbell mushroom soup which was cold and the noodles was hard =x
in the end i think only a few guys finished it
den later was ushered to the avt
passed by the corridor there where they put alot of candles and unglam photos of us
went inside the avt to watch the performances
there's a video with all our cute, innocent and unglam photos
den was the various squad performances
squad 2 advertisement performance was quite good
very funny and can see their creativity
squad 3 dance was oso not bad
even presented a rose to each of us
and there was a gameshow by sq 2
where we had to guess their baby pics
quite difficult
guess wrongly had to do forfeit
Like jac pole dance with huan, yk got waxed, clarice and james had to eat a sweet together, cal and wb had to feel something they can't see etc
den it was the presentation of presents by the ncos and all our past sq ics
after dat had sq interaction
those squad-less ppl went around giving presents and taking photos
and had some talking by jonathan sir
and farewell ended jus like dat
without the singing session
because of time and teacher wanted it to end already
den when we were all about to go home, it started raining
no umbrella so jac and i had to walk home in the rain
and those ppl dat we passed by looked at us like we are some freaks
went home, bathed and changed
den went to mrt to meet sab, cal and wb
reached white sands mac and waited for the rest
took the last 403 bus to our chalet
and continued our doa =)

started doa again
and huan cooked brunch for us
fried rice which tasted quite good
den went out to the playground to play
12 teenagers playing at playground meant for kids
but it was quite fun especially the turn-around saucer thingy
hahahaha
went back later and continued doa, watch tv, played mahjong and eating
yeo and crystal started cooking dinner for us
carrot and corn soup, veg, egg and potato
not bad
at least there's like a proper meal

after dinner rice, huan, cal, and shiya they all escort yeo to the bus stop
sab, me, jac, wb and yk continued doa and mahjong
and dat was when i learned mahjong
haha =D
started having a headache adn went to sleep after finish watching a variety show

woke up at around 8
haha and huan had to bang a wok to wake the rest up
started packing and cleaning up
den took photos
our 'family portrait'
waited for the person to come check and den went down to pay our utilities bill which was only $9
considering the fact dat we switched on the aircon every night and played so much doa
after dat went to take photos at the breakwater there
den went to whitesands mac to eat and chat
we went there at around 10 plus and stayed there until like 1 plus almost 2
the rest went to shiya's house while i went home cos had to do prom shopping later

chem lesson on i think tues was funny
ms chan was teaching alcohol
den she showed us the package of this clean and clear oil and dirt removing wipes
she told us dat one day a salesgirl was like promoting this thingy to her
said wat "this thing very good de, no alcohol in it."
den ms chan looked at the ingredients and found 'propylene glycol' and 'butylene glycol' etc.
so she said to the girl, "ehh girl where did you study your chem huh?"

when my memory fails me at least i'll still hav this blog to reminisce the times i had (:

anw today ms chan gave us a whole big box of toys
as in those small little pieces dat u will hav to fix them together
and clever wenbin suggested making and giving it to wong as bday present.
haha so we started making them
ok we noe it's a bit cheapo but it's the thought dat counts rite?
and it wasn't easy
need to pluck out all the pieces and den fix them together
i still hurt my hand while plucking out the pieces leh.
lol
so in the end we had like over 10 small little red figurines for wong.
all in different postions
got pumping position, zhua xing xing position, sedia and senang diri position etc.
we wrapped them in 2 big balls of newspaper and gave it to wong.
look so wrong. hees x)
and we lied to her we did it during chem lab
cos we said we had to thank ms chan oso.
hahaha
and i think she actually believed it?

something really unhappy happened today during bio lesson
because of a trophy.
shall not say it here.

i really dun understand why a small thing like this could become so serious
it even involved mr chua and maybe mdm lur.
and now it's like our whole class, the whole of 4c and our whole squad all noe abt this.
our whole class is supporting wenbin
haha.
but so what? afterall she's still a teacher.
and if u really ask me, i will say dat the both of them are in the wrong.
he shouldn't hav spoken to her in such an attitude.
she shouldn't hav push all the blame to him and refused to apologise
and shouldn't hav INSULTED our cca.

a lizard and a spider.

the commotion first started around jac dat area.

so the rest of us were like wat u all can't even differentiate between a cockroach and a spider?!

den later ms chan walked over and stepped on the spider.

ok den came the lizard.

crawled to my table there and shihying was chasing after it.

haha den finally he managed to catch it and threw it out of the window.

after dat he went back to his seat, without washing his hands!

those ppl are so cruel.
how can they bear to kill the poor dolphins
jus for their meat.

haha haven been updating for a long time.
too lazy.

jus came back from the funeral of one of my relatives today.
my grandpa's brother's wife.
have been there for the past 2 nights.
hmm quite sad actually.
i think the thing dat we regretted the most is dat we din went to visit her much when she was ill.
not dat we din want to, but we din noe abt it until her condition was too bad.
so the last time we saw her was during cny.

my mum told us dat actually she had alot to say but couldn't find someone to do dat to.
maybe only my mum.
she had 4 daughters, not dat they dun care abt her
but i think it's cos they had their own family too.
she wanted to come our house, but couldn't
cos had to walk quite a long way out to get the bus.
can only come on sat when her daughter was free.
but my mum is not free when she was here.
so whenever she called, they would chat for a very long time.
but now, it's all too late.
we couldn't do dat anymore.

though we are not very close with the relatives there and oso din talk much these few days,
but dunno why i actually missed them.
i remember when we were younger we did spend quite alot of time with 1 of my uncles there.
and both my cousins.
often went out together.
but now, we are like strangers.
i mean my cousins and us.
not the adults.
think it's cos we were not together for a long time
and somemore they are now in their 20s.
as for the other little cousins, we oso dun really noe them.
so yah.
time can really cause relationships to cease.
haiz.

actually i do wish to spend more time with them.
with all of my relatives.
if only we could all live together in one big family like in the past.

think it's not quite possible in this modern society today.

mock comp today.
went to sch with jac and mandice in the rain.
and we were drenched from head to toe when we reach sch.
haha so fun. =P

ok shall not elaborate on the details of the mock comp.
if not iw will be a very long post.
anw i was the marshall of long case.
so only one trip. ;D
ok the bread was nice, makeup was disgusting but fun, cd ppl were professional, cleaning up was tiring, results was..., debrief was sian and most importantly, we were all tired. >.<

as for the results
hmmm shall not say too much. x)

den after dat stayed for debrief and meeting until ard 7 plus.
so it's like more than 12 hrs in sch today.
wonderful. xD

it's ok ac 1. i believe you all had already done your best.
jus be more careful next time.
